Classically Trained, for the Revolution

While I cannot guarantee there will be further strength in the market Thursday, I can say that there are a number of very live set-ups at the moment. If we see further upside in the indices, I have my (freshened) list of the hot-money names begging to trade higher. There are several new names, following today's action and there are a number of issues threatening breaking out any minute.

If the market reverts back to hapless, cellar-stomp action, my work here is mostly for naught. Bring on some Big Ben upper-crust thrust, however, and this is going to be like shooting fish in a barrel (short-term at least). Take a look at the live looking charts below - the fruit should be hanging fairly low tomorrow if the market can gloss lips ruby.

My high-powered rubber band rifle is bigger than hers.

I'm holding 13 positions now (I failed to mention a late buy in thin, but lovely recent breakout issue IRIS (ave. 21.44); so I will be both buying and selling Thursday in a strong market (I will be selling and selling in a resumption of the downtrend, if that is Thursday's faith instead). I'm looking to unload RIMM on strength (at the open if the mkt opens higher) and I will take profits on SYT; SYT it is a little extended and there is not much in the way of earnings growth there. I will let go of the solars if they don't re-assert themselves as the leading group in the market (any negative relative strength there now and I will move aside short term - especially since there are so many powerful medical names at present).

Current Portfolio (by size): GENZ, RIMM, OII, HOLX, CVI, JASO, VIVO, SYT, YGE, CAF, TNH, IRIS, CSIQ
